Bunion Removal Studies
What is a Bunion Removal?:
A bunion is a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of your big toe. It occurs when some of the bones in the front part of your foot move out of place. Bunion removal is a surgical procedure that corrects a deformed area of the foot near the big toe. Bunion removal is sometimes called a bunionectomy. When you have your bunion removed as part of the study, the surgery is completed by board-certified podiatrist. The research we conduct typically involves testing new medications during or after your bunion removal. The studies typically require you stay with us in our facility for a certain number of days after your surgery in order to collect important data regarding the new medication.
